He is survived by his children, Aaron Hughes and his wife Toni Brown, and Amy Hughes and her husband John Phillips; his grandchildren, Andrew Hughes, Destiny Acres, Logan Eakin, JJ Phillips, and Hunter Phillips; his great-grandchild, Damon Eakin; his siblings, Weldon Hughes Jr., Deborah Hughes Luebbert and her husband Ron, and Terrell Hughes and his wife Janice; and his parents, Virginia Hughes and Weldon Hughes Sr. and his wife Patricia Smotherman.
Aaron’s life was defined by the quiet strength and devotion he showed to his family. Those who loved him will carry his memory with tenderness and gratitude for the years they shared.
