April 29, 1978— March 9, 2026
Piqua, OH
Aaron N. Crusoe, 47, of Piqua, passed away at 9:24 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026, at his home. Born on April 29, 1978, in Dayton to Randy Crusoe of Troy and Dorothy (Williamson) Crusoe of Piqua, he is survived by his brother, Ben Crusoe of Piqua, along with many loving family members and dear friends.
A 1996 graduate of Piqua High School, Aaron went on to study Audio Engineering and Music Production at The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe. For nearly two decades he worked as an event manager, first for A Learning Place and later for Romer’s Catering, where he took pride in his work and the many meaningful connections he formed. He possessed a deep love of learning and was an avid researcher, particularly in the areas of technology and finance. Well-versed in financial markets, he approached both long- and short-term momentum trading with discipline and focus. An enthusiastic sports fan, Aaron faithfully followed the Las Vegas Raiders and the Michigan Wolverines football and basketball teams. His greatest passion was music, especially live music; he was a devoted follower of the Grateful Dead and Phish, cherishing not only the performances but the culture, community, and friendships that surrounded them. In his personal time he enjoyed running and maintained a dedicated interest in fitness, health, and nutrition, always striving to care for both body and mind.
In recent years Aaron faced serious health challenges, including Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which progressed over four years. He fought each day with remarkable determination to remain with those he loved. A medical error last year left him with Arachnoiditis as well, and he hoped for greater awareness, support, and research for both conditions. Through it all, he continued to learn, to stay active when he could, and to treat others with kindness and warmth. Aaron had a huge heart and a gentle, approachable nature that made everyone around him feel welcome and valued.
He will be deeply missed by his family and the many friends whose lives he touched.
